Dialogue with the Leadership FAIE : Expanding Mindsets – Shaping the Future – Empowering Opportunities to Build a Digital Brand

On the morning of 16 September 2025, at Hall A301 – Campus 1, Lac Hong University, The Faculty of Administration International Economics organized the program “Direct Dialogue between Students and the Faculty Leadership for the Academic Year 2025–2026.”

The dialogue was attended by PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of the Faculty, MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Dean, along with representatives of the majors, lecturers, faculty staff, and student representatives from various classes. This program created a space for lecturers and students to meet, listen, share, and jointly address concerns related to academic matters as well as career orientation.

🌐 Valuable Gift: Personal .VN Domain Name for Students

Before the dialogue session began, students had the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Mr. Duong Tan Loc – Head of Website 30s Product Department, representing the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC), regarding the national .VN domain name—an important foundation for building a digital brand in the era of digital transformation.

Notably, all students attending the program were guided on how to register a free personal .VN domain name. This was not only a practical gift that enables students to own their own “digital identity,” but also an opportunity to start building a personal brand right from their university years.

💡 Students Raise Questions – The Faculty Listens and Accompanies

The atmosphere of the dialogue became lively as student representatives from different classes openly expressed their genuine concerns and reflections.

For example, Minh Nguyet – 24MK111 (Marketing major) candidly shared: “Marketing is such a broad field that I sometimes feel lost and unsure about which specialization to pursue.” This reflects a common sentiment among second-year students: while there are many opportunities for exploration, there is also uncertainty in finding a personal direction.

In response, PhD Nguyen Van Tan provided practical suggestions: the Faculty will regularly invite enterprises to share insights so that students can better understand market trends and career paths. In addition, right at the hall, he invited all students to take a short brain test to help them identify their strengths and weaknesses. Instead of struggling alone, students are provided with tools and guidance to confidently choose the right direction.

Another question from Khang – 22KQ111 (International Business major) addressed a different concern: “What helps a student catch the attention of employers?” This is also a common concern among third-year students who are approaching the threshold of employment.

The Dean responded concisely yet profoundly: “Difference.” If students only possess general knowledge, it is difficult to stand out. Therefore, the Faculty is implementing the Talent program, where students are trained in specialized skills, professional working attitudes, and especially how to create their own unique distinction.

Through these representative questions, it is evident that students courageously voiced their challenges, while the Faculty not only provided answers but also offered concrete solutions to accompany them. This is also the most meaningful aspect of the dialogue: the Faculty does not stand aside but consistently walks alongside students at every stage of their growth.

🎓 Accompanying Students to Shape the Future

The program concluded in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and trust. From the opportunity to obtain a free personal .VN domain name to career orientations aligned with real-world demands, the dialogue reaffirmed the commitment of The Faculty of Administration International Economics: to always listen, share, and accompany students in delivering sustainable value.

As emphasized by PhD Nguyen Van Tan: “Each of us achieves success by creating our own difference.” This is not only an inspiring message but also a guiding principle for every student to confidently shape their future career journey.
