[FAIE] Practical Experience at Ajinomoto Vietnam – When Theory Connects with Practice

How Can Theoretical Knowledge from the Classroom Become a Useful Tool in the Real Working Environment?

This has always been a major question for many students. On the morning of 6 September 2024, students from the Business Administration and Economic Law majors of The Faculty of Administration International Economics (FAIE), Lac Hong University, had the opportunity to find the answer through a practical visit and study tour at Ajinomoto Vietnam Company.

This trip was not merely an extracurricular activity but also a bridge enabling students to approach real working practices at one of the leading corporations in the food industry. Under the guidance of Mr. Vo Thai Sinh, Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Anh, and Ms. Truong Le Hoang—lecturers of the Faculty—more than 100 students learned about modern production processes, effective operational management, and the core values that have helped Ajinomoto build a sustainable brand in Vietnam.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to directly observe production processes from raw material input to finished products. Academic knowledge about supply chain management, quality control, and human resource management that they had learned in class was vividly illustrated through each specific stage of operation. This was also an opportunity for students to better understand how to apply theory to practice—something that classroom teaching cannot fully convey.

Accumulating Practical Experience – Preparation for the Future

The visit not only helped students enhance their awareness of their chosen fields but also provided an opportunity to develop practical thinking and learn from large enterprises. This is one of the annual activities that The Faculty of Administration International Economics consistently prioritizes in order to provide students with rich and practical learning experiences.

The knowledge gained from this visit will serve as a solid foundation, helping students become more confident when entering the workforce after graduation. The Faculty of Administration International Economics is committed to equipping students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills, thereby building a strong foundation for their future careers.

The visit to Ajinomoto marked another meaningful step in connecting theory with practice, helping students gain a deeper understanding of the fields they are pursuing. Let us look forward to upcoming practical learning journeys for students of The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University.
