[FAIE: SV.STARTUP] Roasted Dried Rambutan: A Journey of Learning, Growth, and Connection

I am Tran Thi Thanh Tuyen, a third-year student majoring in Business Administration at the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics at Lac Hong University. I am deeply honored to represent the University in the competition “Pupils and Students with Startup Ideas – SV STARTUP 6th Edition” with the project “Chom Chom Rang Say – Rambutan Fairy.” Our project team consists of five members and has received dedicated guidance from PhD Nguyen Van Tan, Dean of FAIE. He has provided valuable support and shared practical experience, helping us gain greater confidence throughout this journey.

The competition took place over three days, from 11 May 2024 to 13 May 2024 at Can Tho University. It was truly a memorable and emotional experience.

On the first day, we eagerly entered a dynamic and creative environment. The atmosphere of the competition was vibrant, with the participation of numerous teams from different universities. We met and learned a great deal from a wide range of startup projects, spanning agriculture, technology, and services. The innovative and creative ideas inspired us and affirmed that we were stepping into a challenging yet exciting arena.

The second day was the most important, as we presented the project “Chom Chom Rang Say – Rambutan Fairy” before the judging panel. We spent considerable time preparing and rehearsing to confidently present our idea. Standing on the stage, I felt a strong sense of pride and belief in our product. The questions from the judges helped us reassess the project more comprehensively, identify our strengths, and recognize areas for improvement. The sincere and constructive feedback from the judging panel became a motivation for us to continue refining our product.

On the final day, the competition concluded with the award ceremony and networking activities among participating teams. Regardless of the final results, I believe that each team member learned and grew significantly from this experience. We established valuable relationships with other students, expanded our network, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.

Participating in the SV STARTUP 6th Edition was not only an opportunity to challenge ourselves but also a meaningful journey of learning, growth, and connection. The project “Chom Chom Rang Say – Rambutan Fairy” stands as evidence of the team’s creativity and relentless efforts. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to PhD Nguyen Van Tan for his wholehearted guidance and support, as well as to my teammates for their companionship and dedication.

The competition has concluded, but our startup journey continues. We will persist in our efforts to turn “Chom Chom Rang Say – Rambutan Fairy” into a successful product that brings value to the community.
