LHU claims its 10th championship title at Vietnam Robocon

After overcoming numerous challenges, the LH-UDS team from LHU has been crowned champion at the Vietnam Robot Innovation Contest 2025, which concluded on June 13 in Ninh Binh. They will represent Vietnam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2025, scheduled to be held in Mongolia this August.

Vietnam Robocon 2025 saw the participation of 62 teams from universities, academies, and technical colleges across the country. After the qualifying rounds, the 32 best-performing teams advanced to the national finals.

After a series of intense and dramatic matches, two teams - LH-UDS from LHU and K24-ROBOTICS from the Military Technical Academy - earned their spots in the final round of the competition.

In the decisive match, LH-UDS triumphed with a commanding 9 - 0 victory, claiming the Vietnam Robocon 2025 championship title.

In addition to the championship, other LHU teams also achieved notable honors:

• LH-TKCB received the Third Prize

• LH-WARRIORS earned the Technology Award

• LH-AS was honored with the Idea Award

Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of LHU, expressed his pride in LH-UDS's achievement "This triumph is not merely the result of a single season, but the sweet fruit of years of dedication, refinement, and continuous reinvention. This year’s team embodies a powerful blend of the seasoned experience of past generations and the fiery spirit of their successors - forming a strong team, both strategically and mentally".

LHU is the most decorated team since the competition was first held in 2002. To date, the University has claimed the national championship title 10 times - consecutively from 2010 to 2015, again from 2016 to 2019, and most recently in 2025.

As Vietnam’s representative at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, LHU also secured championship titles in 2014, 2017, and 2018.
