On September 7, LHU and a large number of technology lovers in Dong Nai witnessed the dramatic competitions of 29 teams with more than 50 contestants in the final round of the 2024 RoboG Dong Nai competition.

The competition was organized by the Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and LHU. This is the largest robot competition ever in Dong Nai.

In the finals, all teams had to face real-world challenges that required creativity and quick response to complete tasks within a limited time with advanced technology devices including Ubtech's modern Ukit sets and AI Robots which were provided for the competing teams by the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG).

The Dong Nai RoboG competition attracted the participation of more than 100 teams with nearly 300 contestants who are students studying in the province, reported by the Department of Information and Communications.

As a co-organizer, Rector of LHU Lam Thanh Hien said that LHU is proud of its pioneering role and outstanding contributions in technology education and artificial intelligence (AI). With more than two decades of development, LHU has asserted its position in training high-quality human resources, especially in engineering, technology and computer science. In addition to owning modern facilities, especially advanced AI and Robotics labs, LHU is suitable for the requirements of large-scale tech competitions like RoboG Dong Nai, thereby creating the best conditions for contestants during their training and competition stages, improving the quality of the competition.
As a result, the Organizers have selected the 9 best teams to represent Dong Nai to participate in the final round of the national RoboG 2024 competition in Ho Chi Minh City on September 22.

Specifically, group A (contestants aged 7-14) included Nguyen An Ninh Primary School's team in Bien Hoa City; Trang Duc Minh Tri and Tran Xuan Tien in Bien Hoa City and Hiep Phuoc Primary School's team in Nhon Trach District.
Group B (contestants aged 13-18) included a team from Long Thanh Town Secondary School in Long Thanh District; a team from Vinh Cuu High School in Vinh Cuu District and a team from Lac Hong Bilingual School in Bien Hoa City.
Group C (contestants aged 15-23) included a team from LHU in Bien Hoa city, and 2 teams from Tam Hiep High School in Bien Hoa city.
