[Bien Hoa, Dong Nai] - On the morning of March 25, 2025, Lac Hong University (LHU) had the distinct honour of welcoming a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) for a visit and working session. This event marks a significant stride in the enhancement of cooperation and the exchange of expertise between two of Vietnam's leading educational institutions.
Introduction to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE)
Established in 1976, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) stands as one of the 22 national key universities and one of the two pivotal pedagogical universities in the country. With a specialised strength in the field of teacher training, HCMUE provides highly qualified educators and lecturers, catering to the demand for quality teachers in pedagogical schools and the general education system, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region. HCMUE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs and conducts educational scientific research and related disciplines. These research endeavours aim to elevate educational quality and develop educational solutions tailored to the practical needs of society, contributing to the socio-economic development of the southern region and the nation.
Introduction toLac Hong University (LHU)
Founded in 1997, and having undergone over 27 years of development, Lac Hong University has evolved into a multidisciplinary higher education institution, offering a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Playing a crucial role in supplying a high-quality workforce not only in Dong Nai province but also nationwide, the University has provided personnel to 32 industrial parks and over 40,000 enterprises in the southern key economic region of Vietnam. LHU actively fosters collaborative relationships with over 100 international universities and organisations, 46 foreign enterprises, and more than 256 domestic enterprises, thereby continually expanding its cooperation and training network. Recently, Lac Hong University joined the ASU-Cintana Alliance with the goal of training a high-caliber workforce capable of competing in the global labour market.
Objectives of the Working Session
Notably, Lac Hong University has implemented the LHU AI tool, integrated into the university's internal information system, serving as a "digital assistant" for staff, lecturers, and students. This tool enables users to quickly access and retrieve information related to academic, teaching, and administrative activities, such as schedules, regulations, guidelines, and support services.
