OVERVIEW OF TOURISM AND TRAVEL SERVICES MANAGEMENT MAJOR

1. Overview of Tourism and Travel Services Management Major

Established in 2019, Tourism and Travel Management major (TTM) was one of the majors of the Faculty of Administration and International Economics (AIE) that was previously known as Administration Faculty.

Currently, TTM is strongly developing with 01 Associate Professor, 4 PhDs and the others with Master degree, so they can meet scientific research and teaching & learning activities.

2. Missions

AIE aims to become an educational organization, applied scientific research in order to meet demands of society. The AIE provides human resources, cultivates competent and virtuous talent to serve the national industrialization and modernization in the context of international integration.

3. Vision

AIE aims to become one of the leading faculties in orienting effective application of business activities in practice by 2030.

4. Objectives of AIE

Organize and coordinate tasks professionally in the field of TTM such as management businesses, specialists in charge of the accommodation, restaurants, marketing, customer care, and conference and event organizing departments; administration - operation - design, and sale of tours at domestic and foreign travel companies

In addition, students studying Tourism and Travel Management can also start their own business in the field of tourism, such as opening a travel company, restaurant, hotel,... or participating in tourism start-up projects 5. The total number of students studying TTM

Currently, there are appropriately 63 students studying at TTM bachelor level.

6. Graduates

Since the first graduation course of the TTM in final 2022 to now, the total number of students has graduated about 46.

7. Career opportunities

After graduation, the students can begin with position as management businesses, specialists in charge of the accommodation, restaurants, marketing, customer care, and conference and event organizing departments; administration - operation - design, and sale of tours at domestic and foreign travel companies

Training facilities for research and teaching about tourism at training facilities, research institutes, and businesses specializing in tourism professional training;...
